Arise, Shine, for your Light has Come!
Isaiah 60:1 speaks to us. It’s as if it says, “Wake up! Jesus has come, and YOU get to shine His light to the world! Now go and be the light! Show the world who He is!”
What a joy and privilege it is to follow Jesus and serve Him! But how can I do that? How will you do that? The wise men saw the light of Jesus in a star and brought gifts to honor Him. As we plan our gifts of time, talents, and treasures in this new year, let’s prayerfully consider, intentionally identify, and sacrificially give to the ministries, activities, and missions of our congregation. Let us shine His light by being His light in a world that needs to see Him!
